When you're ready to change a life

--starting with your own,

we've got a volunteer job for you.

We currently have no employment positions open but many volunteer positions.  As a volunteer you can change lives--and improve your skills, training and resume--as a volunteer.  Click here to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

For employment postings, get started in 3 easy steps:

1.  Send your resume, a list of referrences, and your salary requirement by email to hr@cenlaredcross.org;  or fax to 318 487-8936 or mail to 1104 Billy Mitchell Blvd, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303.  PLEASE be sure that your list of references includes name, business, title, address, phone number, and a fax or email address for each reference.  The fax or email is very important as that is the method used to complete the reference form.

2.  All Red Cross employees and registered volunteers are required to undergo background checks; just click here to complete your free background check for volunteers; candidates for employment should not complete the employment background check until requested to do so.

3. Get oriented. To get an overview of the American Red Cross, click here for the online Red Cross Volunteer Orientation.  You may also take our first disaster training class on-line!  Click here to complete "Introduction to Disaster" through our on-line training.
